Questions
What's the difference between the S and C models?
S models (S-600, S-700, S-750i, S-610M, S-610DE) carry CARB Evergreen certification for all 50 states. C models (C-600, C-600M) have engines under 25 HP and, from model year 2023, aren't for operation in California.
Single-temperature or multi-temperature?
Single-temperature units hold one setpoint. Multi-temperature units run more than one zone, so you can haul fresh and frozen together. The S-610DE runs two zones without adding remote evaporators.
Which unit has the most cooling?
At 35°F, the S-700 and S-750i are both rated at 68,000 BTU/hr on the engine. At -20°F the S-750i is rated highest, at 26,500 BTU/hr.
Can I get one with electric standby?
The S-750i has electric shore power built in. For the others, Thermo King offers several electric standby options; ask your shop which fits.
