When your single-zone fleet operates in California and runs at a -20°F set point more than 50% of the time. At -20°F on engine power, the S-700 is rated at 23,000 BTU/hr and the S-600 at 19,000.
Can I run it in California?
Yes. The S-700 has held CARB Evergreen Certification since 2013, and its capacity is paired with the CARB ULETRU compliant S-Series engine, without the need for a DPF.
What refrigerant does it use?
R452A, with a 14.5 lb charge. It reduces the carbon footprint of refrigerants used by fleets by nearly 50%.
Is telematics included?
Yes. The S-700 comes factory equipped with 24 months of complimentary TracKing telematics.
How often does the engine need service?
The maintenance interval is 3,000 hrs/4,000 hrs. Your shop can tell you which applies to your unit.
Can it run on electric power?
With an option: SmartPower electric standby, in Standard and High Output (HO) versions, plus a SmartPower prep package. On electric power the S-700 is rated at 23,000 BTU/hr at -20°F, the same as on engine power. There are several electric standby options, so ask your shop for the performance of the one you choose.
