About Thermo King of the Southeast

Twenty years.
Seven shops.

Ed Corry founded Thermo King of the Southeast in 2006. Today TKSE has sales, parts and service at seven shops across Florida, Georgia and Mississippi.

What we do

We keep refrigerated freight moving across the Southeast.

When the reefer unit on your trailer or truck needs work, bring it to whichever of our shops is on your route. If it can't make it in, we'll send a mobile service truck. Every shop has a parts counter with genuine Thermo King parts.

Since 2006.

Ed Corry, who founded TKSE, is its president. In its first nine years, the dealership made improvement investments in almost every facility, nearly tripled its employee base and enhanced its customer service.

In 2015 it had six shops, all in Florida and Georgia. Mississippi came later, with the Jackson shop in Richland. Today Fort Pierce works out of a new building on Pruitt Research Road, and every shop runs Blue Track by Thermo King.

Seven shops.

Four go by the nearest big city's name. The Orlando shop, for one, is in Winter Garden.

Award Winning Thermo King Dealer.

Dealer of the Year is “the highest honor given by Thermo King Americas annually.” For 2023, dealers were judged on business growth, brand representation, customer service and positive culture.

The training center.

TKSE's training center, at the Orlando shop, is where its technicians train: they come in from all seven shops for classes and ongoing development, and classes go out live to the other shops, where technicians follow along and ask questions. Thermo King colleagues from Brazil, the UK, Venezuela and Italy have come to the center for a class or a presentation.

In the community.

In April 2026 Thermo King presented its first Community Impact Award to three dealers, and TKSE was one of them. The dealership recorded 160+ volunteer hours in 2025 and supports a long list of charitable organizations, from food banks, to veterans, to disadvantaged youth, to law enforcement.

  • In September 2024 TKSE presented a $10,000 check to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, through Thermo King's We Move Food program.
  • The West Orange County Chamber of Commerce named TKSE its 2022 Big Business Member of the Year.
