Thermo King parts

PM kits

Engine protection in one convenient box. Each kit packs the filters a unit's planned maintenance calls for. The right kit depends on the unit, its service interval and, for some units, its build date.

Questions

Which kit do I need?

The kit follows the unit, the service interval and, for some units, the manufacture date. For example, Precedent C-Series units built after 7/2023 take a different kit from units built before. The owner/operator is responsible for verifying accurate parts to ensure compatibility with a specific application. Send the model, serial number and build date and the counter will confirm.

What is in a kit?

An air filter, an oil filter and a fuel filter, and on some kits one more: a fuel secondary filter, an oil bypass filter or an air evaporator filter.

How often do I use one?

It depends on the kit: 3,000 hours for most trailer kits, up to 4,000 hours for severe-duty S-Series, 2,000 hours for the truck, Heat King and TriPac 3 & Evolution kits, and 1,500 hours for the TriPac kit. Preventative maintenance should be performed after every season to prevent engine rusting.
