What does "dealer-installed" change?
The new compressor has a 3-year dealer-installed warranty, 2-year over-the-counter. The extended warranty options also exclude labor coverage on customer-installed engines and compressors. Ask the counter what a shop install covers.
Can I extend the warranty?
Yes. New exchange and remanufactured compressors have extended options: parts for one more year, labor and consumables on the original term, or parts, labor and consumables for one more year. Ask your shop for current terms.
