Thermo King's S-610DE runs two temperature zones in one trailer without remote evaporators; the zones run lengthwise, side by side, for dual lane loading. It is CARB Evergreen certified, so it needs no DPF, and it uses R452A refrigerant.

The S-610DE's host unit has two evaporators: one controls zone 1 and the other controls zone 2. The zones align vertically in the trailer: two separate longitudinal zones, each running the length of the trailer. It's the pick for California fleets that prefer dual lane loading.

The S-610DE has options for additional zones. A DE-3 unit adds a remote evaporator to control a third compartment: one lane holds zone 2, and the other splits into zones 1 and 3.

Can it run on electric standby?
As an option. SmartPower electric standby comes in standard and high output (HO) versions, with 230-volt and 460-volt three-phase motors. On electric power the S-610DE is rated at 44,000 BTU/hr at 35°F, both zones combined; ask your shop for the performance of a specific option.
